hi, if you go to the scoreboard link near the top of the page, you can
access the archives for each game from there. i only use the mlb.tv feed, so
no idea about the game day feed, there is a link labelled "audio" on each
game though.

If you had sight you could skip all that. I was doing that last year and
probably could have done it this year had I not accidentally switched my
player preference to the wrong player. They are only supporting Windows
Media this year, but you can play the streams in Realplayer. If you didn't
Everything works like last year but the date.

Hi.
I just got off the phone with MLB.COM's customer service, and tried to
explain to them the problem of accessing the archives of prior days' games.
I was sent a link, but it's the same link Dean sent to the list yesterday.
I'm going to send an email explaining in detail the problem. I'm not

Good point. I wonder why the archived game broadcasts can't start... say,
when the game starts?

Hi.
Can anyone recommend an MP3 CD player. It must
1. have great sound quality
2. be able to play MP3 files in shuffle mode
3. be able to fast forward through MP3 files
and
preferably it will have a resume function.
I already have a flash and hard drive player so no need for alternate
recom
because they black out the station on the net when the team braudcast
starts. you are paying for the team braudcast more so than just the game
itself.

Well as I said that is my understanding which is based on posti
I'm afraid that most folks are not going to be able to produce their own

is needed for this. I definitely wouldn't turn down a new English voice

Well, the flagship blacks it out on any stream they may run that isn't mlb.
An archive would always be not available until the game ends, if you want
the game live, you use the live option. For the Bucks basketball, I think
the freely available stream blacks out just before the national anthem.
Gary please e-mail me off list and I will see what I can do for you

Yes, but is it necessary to go back a half hour to 45 minutes before the
games starts. I listened to one archive where I had to sit through
someone's political debate for over a half an hour before the pregame.

Hi Jim
This is not a response to your question but actually a few of my own. Do
you like the rockbox or iriv mp3? How user friendly is the software? Do
they come in larger memory model? Where can I get one?

If the tv anouncers described the games even 3 quarters as good as the radio

You could try to get a Sony D-NE320 or D-NE319. If you want something
with a radio, the D-NE420 would be a good choice. Sony will replace the
319 and 320 with the 330. I read that the 330 has quite small buttons,
so the older modells may be better.

from having worked in a control room many times, I'm sure they start
recording when it's convent so they won't forget to start the recording. I
suppose it could be automated, but I doubt it.

Well the Sonys I mentioned are relatively blind user friendly, because
they have buttons with which one can jump from folder to folder. One
could buy a DAISY player, but with the Victor Wave for instance, one
cannot locate specific folders on MP3 cds. This is only possible with
the bigger DAISY pla
