Well, I've long thought the winamp library was rather useless, aside from
for searching for streams in particular genres. I only ever used it for
managing and editing bookmarks, and, since I learned how to edit winamp.bm
directly, I don't even need it for that, any longer.
but, I thought, your
hi Kurt
Are you aware that you must enter a feed address for each book manually?
unfortunately you can't just go to a site and expect Juice to work for you
right off.
Juice will work with this site, you just have to know how to use it.
Find the address for the audio book you'd like to download,
Well, I got it to work, you first need to register and then you need
to search for the book you wish to subscribe to. Once you've found
the book you want, click on the subscribe link and its added to your
subscribed book list, you can then copy your personal subscriptions
link into Juice and i
The new R-09 will only be half the size of the R-1 and it will be
cheaper. However, one still gets a built-in stereo microphone and all
the recording sources, Plug-In powered mic-in and line-in socket. It
records on SD cards instead of Compactflash. To read more, one can go to

Wow. Nice to feel all up to date when you've just purchased your giant
clunky Edirol R1! LOL! I won't be in the market for a new recorder for
years yet.

Unless I have been doing something wrong, I have to disagree with you as far
as mlb.com is concerned. I've paid the money for the mlb.com audio for the
last couple of years, and it, if anything, has gotten worse. I can remember
hearing games on small transister radios on am in the 1960s & 1970
hi, i meant mlb.com in general. the website is mlb.tv but it was introduced
by mlb.com which was my point. they brought in the tv broadcast hence giving
us better quality. with nhl.com, your stuck with the poor quality and partly
inaccessible embeded player!

The problem, as we all know, is that the tv announcers assume you're looking
at it, & thus don't do nearly as good a job of description as the radio
announcers. They've proved that they're quite capable of providing good
audio, so why don't they just do it? I'd consider paying more than the

My experiences with MLB have been equally disappointing. I would note that
the NHL's hockey service, though impossible to navigate as it relates to
archived games, has fairly good sound quality for its broadcasts. I too hope
they begin to offer a paid service, and improve some of their shortcomi
No, relax, you are so correct. The quality on MLB is bad no matter what you
do. MLB is the worst quality I've heard in a long time. When then parted
with Real Player as their exclusive partner, Real Player had to take them to
court to force them to include the Real Player. When they were with RP
Hello,
I am not really into midi files; or at least, I haven't been. Although
I do have several, I want to collect more.
It is my understanding that some midi players sound far better than the
one which comes with windows. I am therefore writing to request
recommendations along with the appr

If we're talking about the Edirol R09 which isn't out yet, it
I didn't think you could get football on the net at all when it comes to the
playoffs. I thought Westwood 1 hates the idea of streaming of any kind.

Good that I did not buy the R1. This sounds much better. I use SD cards a
lot with PDAs and they are really good. They are almost postage stamp sized
or may be slightly bigger. I think the capacity of these cards is stuck at 2
GB which could be a problem for someone. I don't mind carrying a few
