Can cost anything from approx. £2 - £100 depending on quality and length and
type of connectors.

Wwish it was as simple as simply using a cable as Peter seems to suggest.
If you mean a separate turntable, i.e. one that is not built into a stereo
system, you would probably need some kind of pre-amp between the turntable
and the computer.

How about the Sandisk players? I know they have a resume feature that can be
turned on in the menus, but I don't know how accessible the machines are. I

I have an mp3 file twhose sound level is too low. I have mp3 Direct Cut
and it seems I should be able to use the gain control to increase the

problem. Whenever internet explorer tries and open an windows media player
file for example, .asx. Explorer will prompt me to download the file instead
of windows media player automatically opening and playing th

well there is a tab for that I think. at least I think there is one for
artist and title. One edit box says new disk name and the other one says
artists name. This is at least with creating an audio disc.

I think most of the newer turntables have preamps built
in to
them because the new stereo receivers don't have the phono jacks in
them. I never bought one but I was looking for one 2 or 3 years ago
and saw that they had their own preamps.

I believe it is only the later versions of Winamp that have the ability to play
the WMA format.
If you have an earlier version of Winamp and it does not play your WMA files,
update to the latest version.
Of course, you can have more than one version of Winamp on your computer--just
put them each
