I have a large number of audio files that I am not going to use for awhile. I
was wondering if I put them into a "zip folder" and unzipped them a few months
from now would the audio still sound good?

Hi
Why do you use the bbc embedded player whilst there are much simpler
options? You can redirect it to either windows media player or real
player. Once you get the particular station playing in windows media
player you can then bookmark it and you never have to faff on the web
site again.

Hi Gery,
I had that happen to me several times this weekend. I've never seen it do
that before, but I could click on 20 different files, all supposedly
available and not remotely cued, and nothing would happen. They would just
finally time out. Seems to be back on track now.

I use re-play radio almost daily and find it very accessible with window

i'm sure I could, force of habit, grin. I have tended to use it for

The movie sound doesn't start when you insert the dvd. When you insert the

It has been mentioned on this list that Goldwave can be used to record live
streams. When trying to do this I've been rewarded with the sound of
silence. Presumabably something within Goldwave's settings needs to be
adjusted, but I can't find it. Can anyone suggest what I might be doing
wrong?

Ron, I'm having a play with Replay Radio which has lead me to two questions.

Hi,
This sort of compression doesn't harm any kind of file because, upon
receiving, you use the same algorithm but in the opposite direction so as to
"decompress" it. Thus, you end up with a file that is absolutely identical
to the original which is to say, it _is the original, whereas, with the so
