saving sound files as a "compressed" folder

Hi Why do you use the bbc embedded player whilst there are much simpler options? You can redirect it to either windows media player or real player. Once you get the particular station playing in windows media player you can then bookmark it and you never have to faff on the web site again. HTH

It has been mentioned on this list that Goldwave can be used to record live streams. When trying to do this I've been rewarded with the sound of silence. Presumabably something within Goldwave's settings needs to be adjusted, but I can't find it. Can anyone suggest what I might be doing wrong?
