Greetings,
I was reading some messages from the TNTalk list and during one a site was
given from which functional audio equipment may be obtained. I have tried
the site and on entering the only link I could find seem to be getting back
to the original page.

Good day folks and folkettes:
Could someone please educate me as to how to get rid of the "media
library" window that pops up in Winamp, version 5.8C if it matters, when I
play an audio file currently?
Thanks a bunch,

Of course you can turn off the shuffle feature. There's a slide switch on
the back of the player for power off, shuffle and no shuffle.

Hello
You first need to go to Recording Source and Parameters, which is the first
screen to open in the TR menu, and be sure that recording from software is
checked. Then within your volume control under properties you will see
controls for play or record. Under the recording properties you can only

Could you please send me this file off list? I'd be curious to see whether
it will work with Windows 98 which is what I am still running, though I
anticipate upgrading to XP within the next few weeks. Do you think there is
anything about the operating system itself that makes a difference?
Hi Marty,
Actually, It would be better to expect 650mb for a good burn using a 700mb
disk.
The reason is because, there is file overhead on the disk.
While in Nero, when you come to a button, or other control that you are not

Jerry,
While I would not personally be in the market for a recorder like this at
this time, it sounds like a worthwhile product and I'd be surprised if it
didn't generate a lot of interest. This seems like exactly the kind of
product that should be demonstrated/reviewed on Main Menu and I'd defini

Yes I definitely would be interested in hearing a review on these devices.
I am particularly interested in just how accessible it is. I would like to
be able to record live music and meetings with such a portable device and
then edit the result on my computer.
I look forward to it.

Yes, I am talking about the Ipod Shuffle. No, you don't need a play list.
Just select no shuffle.

Hello Anders,
The maximum size for a Wav file is 2 GB, which is 3 hours 20 minutes at CD
quality. To record a longer Wav file, you will have to find software that
will automatically split the file while recording. I have never tried this
in Goldwave, but there is a program called Advanced Reco

My experience with total recorder is you have to press record in total
recorder first and then tell it to stream. It refuses to record on the fly
streaming. That's always been my experience with it.

This depends on the file system you are using -- for a FAT file system
the largest file size is 4gb -- for NTFS its 2**64, if I remember
correctly. I think Goldwave should save any file your file system can
handle -- at least adccording to the manual.
