Hi, First the port looking like a big usb port is infact a firewire port. The litle lose cable is a digital connection i think. I don't remember the exact plug, but from the little firewire plug I think number 2 is line out 3 microphone and 4 line in, but I'm not quite sure. Best regards Brian --
