I would like to know the URL for bookport .

Hi,
Thanks Curtis.
This is the type of recording to which I was referring. I want to be able
to transfer my music files and take them with me.
The built-in mike is just an extra as far as I'm concerned.

Hi Brian.
While we're on the subject of cliches, you'll probably know the cliche that
"there's more than one way to skin a cat". There's also room for personal
preference. I prefer to have Nero open with the new dialogue because I've
got everything there as soon as the program starts, new ISO, a

but I'll paste a message leading to an ebay item here for you. Marco sent
this info to the list.

Hi Kevin,
Oh I didn't want to offence you at all.
I can add that in the very latest version of Nero the 6.6 or so called Nero
6 reloaded i'm beginning to use Nero smart start because it's much more
accesible now then it ever was before. Any way thanks for the information.
I believe many can use
Can you give us some clues on Start Smart. I went into it and it did not
seem very accessible.

Hi,
I hope you're using the very latest version if not it will not work very
well.
The most importent klue I can give is that you'll have to use the spacebar
rather then the enterkey. Just go ahead and press space on the choose a
category then with the arrows find the one you wanna use.

No worries, Brian, and no offense taken. Just wanted the list to know why

Hi, Neronians,
Now this is weird. I've installed Nero 6.6 and when I try to run startsmart
it says it can't because some files are missing, but gives no clue as to
which ones those are. Yet, I can run burning-rom or express and do just
fine. Is this worth worrying about or might I just as well carr
Chris,
Yes, I do have Rob's help files, and they got me up and running with the

Remember what I said about losing my little grey cells? well, after posting
to the list last night i had another play with it and tried the ACM encoder
just for giggles, and of course it worked fine. i won't
Hi,
I had to use Ahead's miserable tech support andI have a number for you to

Extension 303 is some kind of supervisor of tech support.
If you need a option higher up on the food chain, write me off list.
The tech support people appeared to have zero interest
Well I just received my C Crane Transmitter. Stay tuned for my opinion. By

increase the range. Please Clarify?

It seems to me that making the DVR accessible wouldn't be too difficult, if
there was a great enough demand. Before I became blind, I used the Tivo
frequently and it's wonderfully functional. Have one now, but I can't use
it. would love to be able to use it again.

It says that the special installer supports wma, however, even when it's set
to be associated with everything, it will not play wma. Winamp always comes

Anyone have any ideas?

OK, how do you set that jitter
correction? Since I slowed my burner
down (It's too fast for my Pentium II
system) I have been burning less
coasters! I have not burned a coaster
in a while.

Hi Mimi.
The jitter correction checkbox can be found on the read options tab of the
copy CD dialogue. Simply check it to use jitter correction. The burn will
take longer but will be the best quality possible.
Regards.

Hi,
Kevin, how does "jitter" affect C D quality?
I don't mean to sound dumb, but the sound sounds O K to me.
Is this more a problem with older burners maybe?
Just trying to learn.

I can only answer your question about whether you have to use the IRiver
software or just the drivers. If you're using Windows XP you can just use
the driver installed when you connect the IRiver to the USB port. This was
my experience with the IHP-120.

Hello there,
I'm curious about something.
I sometimes have heard things like radio broadcast archives or other things of
that nature using Real Player, but sometimes I need to use Windows Media

HI Wan,
I guess the only thing you could do is to pause the music at the very end of
the song, then about a split second before the next song start recording.

About Windows Media Player 9/10 Series:

It's only a guess. But my guess is that there may be something wrong on the
station's end..beings as how you're getting the same results on another
computer; if the station has a "contact link" (and it probably does) I would
suggest that you might want to get in toouch with either the web master..
Speaking for myself..I have never been able to find anything to make
"Windows Media" move forward! So I would also be interested if someone can
come up with something here.
