Is there a discussion group devoted to Winamp users who are using speech
accessibility, and if so, could someone post the URL for signing up?
Thanks.

Hi ya Jay,
Personally I'm a big fan of the nero rom burner. It's accessible and screen
reader friendly. For DVD playing software I use Power DVD by cyberlink
which has now been purchased by ASUS. It takes a little getting use to but
once you navigate through it not bad at all.

Scott,
Thanks for this information. It's much more versatile than RecAll Pro then.
I'll get it installed and have a look.

I'm not sure how familiar you all are with this, but there's a slider in the latest
version of media player that allows you to change the rate of a file without changing
it's pitch, but unfortunately, I don't think there's a way to save the changes made to
it. Therefore, I was wondering if anyo

actually, you can't simply convert an mp3 file to cda because cdsa is the
file type you see on a standard audio cd. when you burn an audio cd with
any burning package, the mp3 file is converted to .wav and the .cda file is
merely a pointer to the .wav file.

Actually, you want to convert the files to .wav format. When you burn
the audio CD, .wav files are put on the CD in CDDA format.
In fact, some CD bburning software will burn an audio CD directly from
the mp3 files, so you might look at your burning software to see if
it's cable of this. If not,
Peter,
If I understand correctly, you want to listen to the audio file before you
decide to download it.
Try this, go to internet options, and tab to the advanced tab.
Arrow down thru the list until you come to multi media.
Now arrow down until you come to play sounds in webpages.
If I'm correct, w
Richard
Yes, you have understood correctly.
I have checked as you suggested and the play sounds in web pages is turned on. I have
Winamp as my player and that does play MP3 files normally when these are located on my
hard drive etc.
