hi all,
i've recently amassed a 6Gb, and counting, MP3 collection, and when i go to
make a playlist Media Player 9 crashes my system.
i can only conclude that this is because Media Player copies the MP3 files
to the 'My Music' folder on the C Drive, and seeing as i only have 1Gb of
space left on
Hi, Albert, it should be pointed out that skype only works with windows
2000 and windows xp, but people have gotten it to work on 98 but
there's no guarantee it will work, so, just keep that in mind, before
proceeding further with skype. It sounds like a very interesting

Wait, I know of a number of my friends who have used it on Windows 98 and
use it with Window-eyes very well without much problem. Just thought I'd

Hi, Charles, on their web site, it says that skype only works with 2000
and xp, so that's why I posted the message, I also have a computer
that's just fast enough, and under those conditions, don't want to take
any chances.

Greetings, I'm sorry for being cautious, but this seems too good to be true.
Can you assure me that this is genuine and a bona fide programme with no

Sarai,
Did you ever get your Archos recorder going with RockBox? Within the last
week or so I purchased a 20gb recorder model and the voice system works
great. I was curious to know if you ever got it working and if so, what the
problem was to begin with?

Hi Scott.
Can't help you with that one as I'm a Nero user. I'm surprised though that
Easy CD Creator doesn't allow you to view your compilation before you burn
in the same way that Nero does.

I'd be surprised if Media Player was copying files from source to the hard
drive. It shouldn't need to do this to create a playlist. The problem most
likely lies with the install of media player itself or some quirk with your
system, maybe not enough RAM or processor power?
Have you tried using
Nope, never got it working. I have no idea what the problem was. Its

Hello PC Audio pals,
I'm wondering if anyone has considered making this list into an online forum rather
than an e-mail list? I am a regular participant in a forum on Worldcrossing.com and it
is really easy to use and access overall.
The difference is this, for those who aren't familiar with for
