Look for Effects/Dynamics/Multy-Band in the menus. There is a plosive
preset in there. Hope that helps. This is in SF5 so I don't know if they
moved the Multi-Band effect in 6.

It probably was but only for maybe a short time. lots of the stuff you find
on Beta news is just that, Betas. so normal disclaimers about installing
beta software apply.
I've got the original Winamp 5.03 running here and she's flawless,
absolutely no problems with it at all.
It rocks my world.
HI Bruce,
It has been my experience that it ripped everything there was to rip on the
dvds that I have fed it so far. Have you found this not to be the case?
I'm curious to find out.

HI Bob,
I believe that the demo only allows you to rip a certain amount of audio say
5 minutes but stand to be corrected on the amount of time. You need to
purchase it to take that limitation off.

Thanks.

I have. For example, I have a DVD in the drive now of Sanford and Son
episodes. What happens is you have to chose one index, which is the
equivalent of one episode in this case. Then on top of that, if there are
multiple languages on the DVD, or a director's commentary or whatever,

Hi Bruce,
I understand what you are talking about now. Most of my dvds have been one

Firefly is a free program that lets you chat by voice on the Internet. I haven't
tried it yet so I don't know if it is accessible. For more information go to

Hi there,
I have been following this thread, and am interested in audio DVD ripper,
but I have two questions:
1. In what format does it rip the audio, or do you have a choice?
2. Where can I find this software, and what is the cost?
Thanks in advance,

There's a classical fm station which only gives one wmp or real player as an
option to listen.
I prefer, in this case to use wmp.
My question is this. How can I save the station in wmp (version 9, (I'd use
an earlier version if I could get my hands on one)).
In answer to your first question, you save in either wave or MP3 format. I
can't remember where the program came from ... but if you do a Google
search for "dvd audio ripper" with the quotes, you should find it. That's
how I did. Well worth the cost of the program.

Hi there,
Just one more question:
In order to use this software, do I need a DVD ROM, or a DVD RW?
Thanks for all the help!

Well, you'll need a DVD reader, otherwise you'll have no way of taking the
info off the DVD.

Hi,
The answer is no.
.cda is a CD Audio file.
your friend must have coppied it from a audio CD and paste it on her
computer. That is not the way to rip a CD.
the .cda file is no good without the CD.
