Some versions of Sound Forge have an "append" checkbox in the open dialog. If
you have that option, check it and
each file you open will be appended.

Hi, is there any way of using soundforge to join a number of mp3
files together to make one file. that is, apart from loading them one

Hi Gang:
I am trying to split a lartge file based on the silence between phrases. In
this case, a two second gap would represent chapter breaks. In Goldwave, this
is easily accomplished; however, I don't seem to be able to accomplish this by
using the Auto Region creation in SF 8.
Any ideas?
Jim! You can tell Sound Forge to make regions delimited by silence. I
haven't done it in a very long time. Perhaps play with Tools, Auto Region.
