Hi,
To make a portion of the sound faid out, first select that portion of the
sound. Then, on the process menu, choose faid. The option you want from this
menu is out.
As for mixing two sounds, and faiding the first one out and the second one
in, first, copy the second sound to the clip board. Then, get to the
position in the first sound where you want the faid to occur, and press
control-f.
