well, I manage to find the same song on another free download site, already
in mp3 format. But, for future reference, how would one go about doing what
you suggest? How can I record from an asx file into Goldwave?

hi. as far as I can tell, you can't. an ASX file is a text file that
references another file on the internet. So, as far as I know, this isn't
possible.
