HMMM. That's discouraging. I can certainly play this asx file in either
Realplayer or Windows Media Player. Is there no way to use either of them to
save the data as either a wav or an mp3?

hi. as far as I can tell, you can't. an ASX file is a text file that
references another file on the internet. So, as far as I know, this isn't
possible.
