Glad you got your issue resolved with Winamp. If you ever encounter this
problem again, first, see if the playlist editor has focus. If it does, hit
CTRL+TAB to get to another Winamp window, then hit ALT+E to close the
playlist editor. ALT+W toggles the Winamp main window.

No you do not want to close the main window. Hit control p and go down to
skins and make sure it is on classic skin.

you've saved, and it'll start to play tracks in it.
