Hello, Go to "preferences and then arrow down to video. Tab until you get to the checkbox that says "display video window when video playback begins" and make sure the checkbox is checked. There are also other checkboxes that let you control whether or not the video window closes automatically

I brought up this question not that long ago. no solutions other then using another player like vlc. I guess we can try looking at the winamp forums at winamp.com I assume they have a forum. I first noticed this over a year and a halfago, so it's ongoing through different versions. Jorge Aud
