I've had some turntables to do that to me too.
If your turntable is a belt driven turntable, then that could be apart of
the problem.
Sometimes the belt is a little to tight.
This is why it plays records a step to fast.
Also, the motor could be a little off.

You could do it in Sound Forge by lowering the pitch by a semitone, but I don't
know about Goldwave.
