Olusegun! I use a Sony stereo microphone that costs $100. It gives me
really good results and requires no setup. I'd like to find a pair of
speakers that would attach perhaps to shoulders. Headphones are too
dangerous for me while walking.

Hello. you might be able to moniter thorugh headphones. as to external mics.
try the mics from sound professionals.
