Hi Joe, You can get a card reader from Radio Shack for ten dollars or so. I have a first generation stream and never use the USB port to connect it. It is so much faster to transfer files using a card reader. This would be a very inexpensive way to fix your problem. Jerry Howell http://www

Hello Joe. Perhaps the USB port on your stream has failed. You could purchase a card reader and download your books onto your storage card.
