I think there's a way to do this with CD Burner XP. I'm pretty sure that you
can do it with NCH Express Burn, but I'm not sure that this function is
supported in the free version.

I use CDex! I have to rip to the harddrive first, as I have only one CD
player/burner!

It would be best for you to rip your CD's to your hard drive and then create
your compilation in the same way as you did for those tracks you downloaded.
You can use media player, CDEX or a few other rippers to do this and you'll
need to choose a format you're happy with. I'd recommend
