Yes it may sound reasonable, point is that they're not multi channel files, in
other words they only contain 2 channels and your surround-sound does the rest,
simulating a surround-sound thus its stereo with some DSP effect and not a true
multi channel.

The movie Black halk down from about 2001 is amacing regarding to naturel
surround sound effect.
Jean Michelle Jarre made a record called cronologi where there are some bees
