Assuming you have the current version of the firmware, hold down the play
button for several seconds. The player will speak. You can then switch
between books by pressing the left and right arrows either side of the play
button. When you hear the title you're looking for, press play as

The only way I've figured out how to work with that issue is to put all
the contents of a book's folder on to the root directory of the flashcard or
root directory of a thumbdrive. You can only listen to one book at a time,
but those NLS players don't like multiple books on one card.
