Hello. I've got one of these laptops that has one jack for everything. What
kind of mixer do I need? Can I use an analog mixer? If so, what kind of cables

Hello Armando,
I don't necessarily think that you need a usb mixer.
A reasonable analogue mixer, connected in to the line in of your
computer will do just fine. You can monitor from the mixer, and have
complete control of the faders.
75 dollars, or fifty uk pounds will do you just fine.

you need adapters, and you won't pan cheap. you will have to probably spend around

Do I need cables to convert from 1/8 inch to another type of cable, or are

High Tom,
Yes I did, I didn't care to much for it.
If I need to do that, the best way to go, is a stand alone compressor.

Edirol has a nice little 10 channel mixer named the M-10E for $140.00
plus $40 or so shipping and insurance to Canada. It weighs four pounds and
