Dumb question I'm sure but why do you want to convert from MP3 to M4A or AAC? Mp3 should play just as well and you're certainly not gaining anything in audio quality doing this as you're converting from 1 lossee format to another thus losing quality in the conversion anyway. If

Hi! I would personally upgrade. I believe that version 5.13 is the version that a lot of people are using now, but I am using the latest version, 5.22, with no problems. The built-in scripts make it even more functional. You could also try using goldwave or soundforge to convert the files. Demos

it has been my experience that when you download something from ITunes you can't play it on any other player on your system unless you burn it onto a cd and then rip it back on there. The licensing is very proprietary. As for m4a format yes, winamp does play that type. Terese At 08:26
