When I installed and ran CDex for the first time, I was told I was missing a
file and asked if I wanted to use the NT Native SCSI Interface. I said yes.
Now, when I rip a CD to MP3 format, the file is not compressed.
How can I fix this problem?

I'm not using the lame encoder. I want to use the Fraunhaffer
encoder. As it turns out, I did try the lame encoder and it did work,
but it's not a solution to my problem.
Neither is using Goldwave, as another member suggested I do.
hi have you installed the laim encoder?

this message and come to your rescue. I don't have enough sense to do it
myself.
