In need of help to save my computer's life please! I've just
installed Audible Manager and Download Manager on my Windows 7 laptop
(using Jaws 14). I've successfully bought my first book with one of my

I don't know the format used by audible, but there's a free option in MP3
Direct Cut, or paid one's like Goldwave that will do this kind of thing.

Not sure if this will help, but I was asked on audible a month or so ago, to
setup an amazon account to use for the login on audible. This was at the
same time I was changing my email used with audible. So am not sure if it
was to do with this or something they are trying to get us
I' am beginning to believe that there is a problem with access in the UK.
Perhaps a contact with the RNIB to see if they can lobby on behalf of UK

What happens when you click on the Library link? What happens for me is I
need to sign into my audible account with my password and hit continue.
That in turn opens the Library, although there is a lot of material before
the Library section of the web page. Using Jaws I generally
audible has changed a lot reasontly and i could not really work it. i can't

Since the new update has not been released, making the statement you made

Yes, the version of internet explorer may very well be part of the issue. I
don't use jaws myself but I'm sure there's people here who can help with

Do you have the softpack for the Stream? I presume this is a first generation
stream. If you don't have the softpack, the enhanced audio format is not
supported by the Stream. If you do have the softpack, I'm not sure why the
Audible book won't play.
