Hi, I've notice that mp3's at 128 kbps joint stereo seem to be better quality
than normal stereo mp3's. So, what is joint-stereo and why is the quality
difference present?

Hi, no, you need to convert midi files to an audio format. For cd burning, this
would be 44.1 khz, 16 bit, stereo. Probably the easiest way I've found of doing
this is just to open both your sound recording program, and your midi player.
