house. On the back of the unit, there is a piece of light cardboard stuck
over a little panel with a tiny screw adjustment with which you can increase
the power some. I have had no difficulty with this transmitter.

The Roady1 is fairly small with ten buttons for numbers one through ten with
which you program in channels. I have liked it and will be sorry not to
have something as convenient.

some nice improvements. You now have tone control of bass and treble
respectively for music. The volume is increased for the internal speaker.
The pitch of the synthesized voice can be changed. These are the best
improvements for my liking.

I'm using Premier CD creator very successfully, mostly to burn audio CD's.
Once in awhile I have trouble closing the program when finished. I find
that I can tab to and click on "cancel" and then close it.

Does anyone know how to get Winamp 5.32 to quit asking us to get the update
to 5.33? It's a nuisance; but I don't really want to take the upgrade. I
can't find where to tell it not to keep bugging me about it.

In Winamp, go to Preferences and check all formats you want Winamp to play.
Then go into your other players and uncheck what you want only Winamp to do.
Also, if you want a particular drive to open and play music CD's with
winamp, you can program the drive to do that.

Can he attach a y connector that would plug into the analog output line and
have two female connectors that would accommodate the headphones and
whatever else might be desired? You can do a work around with various
connectors.

No. on the back of your tower there are jacks on your soundcard into which
you connect or plug things such as your talking screen reader, speakers,
headphones, etc. If the earphones don't work, you may have to go into your
volume settings and raise the headset volume to %100.

You have to plug the earphone plug into the earphone jack on your soundcard.
I have a cable running from that jack up to the table on which my computer
sits. (My tower is on the floor.) SO I can just plug into the the
appropriate plug. HTH.

I agree that Mainmenu should be updated every week. If they kept up with
it, it wouldn't be such a great chore. Also, those who need the material,
need it "now", and not several months later. For that reason, I have all
but given up, too, but I keep an eye on it with some hope.

If the signal is not reaching far enough for you, you can increase the
signal strength by peeling off the sticky oblong piece of cardboard from the
back of the unit and, using a small flathead screw driver, find the screw

I'm not using a laptop. But on my desktop machine with Windows XP, I have
an Audigy 2 and I really like it. For one thing it is a 24-bit card and the
voice recordings I've done with it have no background noise to speak of. I
have the Soundblaster Live Value card on an older machine withWin98 and
as a cable
plugged into it's soundcard, coming from a y connector, and leading up to
the computer tables. This configuration works well.

They cost me around forty
dollars after sales tax and what-not. There are three little knobs centered
near the top of the subwoofer box for on/off, volume and treble/bass.

When I downloaded the Lame encoder to work with Goldwave, It put an icon on
the desktop and set up its own folder. So I'm thinking you just activated
when it's needed in conjunction with Goldwave. But I haven't used it yet.

When I downloaded and installed Gold Wave, a couple of months ago, There
was a note that said that I would need the Lame file. I think I got it from
the Goldwave site. It puts an icon on the desktop that's called Razor Lame.
