Hi Dana,
The stream works fine with Firefox and Winamp 5.58. Older versions of
Winamp couldn't play .aac files but I believe that Winamp has supported it
for the last couple years.
Look in your Winamp preferences under file types and see if your version
supports.aac files. Hth.

Appologies if this has already been covered in this thread. Open the
Windows Volume Control and press the alt keyto get to the options menu.
Arrow down past the properties dialog and you'll hit the advanced controls
checkbox. Make sure this is checked. Depending on the card you'll eit
x27;ve looked on the Shoutcast forums and at the
Acb Radio broadcaster support site but haven't found anything yet. I'm also
wondering whether the linerec plug-in broadcasts in stereo or only in mono.
Any help greatly appreciated.

set a certain way they can block a web site from sending streaming
files to you. Of course you need to make sure that your antivirus and
antispyware programs are up-to-date and working before you change your
security settings. But I've found this method works when nothing else does.

Hello,
I've downloaded m4a and m4b files from the ABC and CNN web sites. These are
the files you get when you try to download some of their podcasts. My guess
is that they are Itunes files. As was mentioned earlier, they can also be
played in Winamp.
