I was able to find a brand new pair of my altech Lancing acs 340 speakers on
ebay. If you can't find yours these are a good alternative. From what I have
heard you describe your speakers the 340s may be a bit weeker than yours
but they are still a good set of 2.1 speakers.

you need a ground loop isolater. you can get it at the shack or you use to
be able to. It is a long transformer that kills the ground loop. All hook
ups are in the box.
A cheap solve is to kill the ground on the computer but I didn't want to do

I don't know, about the best ear buds, but I have a pair of Sony, buds, I
like allot. They feel great in your ears, a nice rubber pad around them.
They sound, fine, great for books, and some music. Could wear them all
night, have gone to sleep several times, grin, with them in my ears. Talk
