6 of 7 is listed as:

jfw.ini file, just as you describe, to force JAWS to use your SigmaTel card.
As I said before, I don't think the IMic will make itself the default audio

As far as I can determine, Goldwave 5.25 will not open wavepack files (.wv).

Also, you might rip the tracks using a ripper that will "see" only the audio
tracks, not any of the video content on the CD. I've done this using Easy
CDDAExtractor. But, if you want to extract just the audio from a DVD that is
ALL audio-video, you'd have to use something like DVDAudioExtractor,
Play it in an old CD player that doesn't support multimedia content. That's
the best I can suggest.
