As other list members may know I have 2 Raspberry Pi machines here, 1 is used
as an Internet Radio Player and the other runs XBMC and is a Media Center, I'm
thinking of buying a third Pi for a specific purpose and would be interested in

probably better than that Free You Tube (or whatevwer that other one is

found they had changed something and I couldn't get it to work like I wanted

Get the free program called Freemake Video Converter. It uses menus and
dialogs and will do what you want.
