Yep that's exactly it so if you put a whole heap of folders onto a SD card the
player will play 1 song after another, when it reaches the last song in the
last folder the player will go to the first song in the next folder, sorts
numerically and alphabetically.

you can use audacity to merge mp3 files.
One way of doing it would be as follows:
1. Open the first file (ctrl+o).
2. pressĀ End to move the cursor to the end of the audio.
Then for each mp3 file you wanted to add on the end follow the next 3 steps:
