Thanks Chris for reminding me <smile>.

I wrote to the list 2 weeks or so ago as I'd just purchased an Enzatec portable
MP3 player with speakers.

This unit is a bit of an exception to the rule when it comes to MP3 players, it
has its own stereo speakers but yet doesn't have a screen, all to our
advantage? Certainly!

I've had the device now for a fortnight and thus can give further information
and impressions.

For the $40.00 I paid the purchase was most worth while, sound is brilliant!
given the size of the player.

You can use a SD card or a USB stick with the player.

Only thing you can't do is navigate through folders so that's a little
disappointing though not a problem if you just plan to dump a few hundred songs
onto a SD card for playback.

The player has a remote controller which is incredibly easy to use as the
controller only contains 9 buttons, these are in no particular order your
volume up and down buttons, track forward and track back buttons, play/pause,
volume up and down buttons, mode button which toggles between USB and SD card
if you have both connected, and EQ button to change the sound characteristics
and a mute button, basic controls are also on the unit itself.

The player can be used as a pair of laptop speakers etc thanks to the line-in
socket.

Someone asked me about the availability of these players? Well I did a Google
search and it would seem that they're readily available throughout the world,
one thing that did surprise me was that these players are a huge seller in
India, that's according to Google <smile>.
