Hi i'm using Sonar 7.0 in conjuction with J sonar.
Could anyone please tell me how I can configure sonar so it detects my zoom
h2 recorder as an audio interface and as a microphone?I know how to connect
eh zoom h2 as a microphone to the computer, but have no idea how to
configure it in sonar.
I can say that sonar 8.5.3 is very accessible with the latest built of
CakeTalking for sonar 8.5.3.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
I need to convert a large AVI video file to an mp3 file so I can play it on my
sansa 260 mp3 player.
I've tried the oxelon media converter but the file won't convert.
I can't send it to send space because the file is too large.

Ok, well, is it more like a multi track recorder you're looking for? then I
may recommend zoom h4n, it's the most blind friendly recorder from zoom
ever.

Try Olympus recorder. The digital one. It can record and all you have to do
is send it to the computer and you'll get the mp3 ffile from it.

Hi, Barry. Thanks for your help in this. She has Jaws 11, so based on what

Thanks again for your help!

hi listers
here is my situation.
right now when I record my sessions I usually record them on to a cd, and if I
need to make a copy and I want to turn it in to an mp3 I have to use cdex to
shrink it down. that's not really the problem.

Provided that both sound cards are enabled, you can easily do this with JAWS,
but it is a little more involved if you are using a
version of JAWS prior to 10. Please let me know what version of JAWS you are
using and I can let you know how to do it.
Thanks,

I'm trying to get the audio for Jaws onto a separate sound card that is
installed on my wife's computer. She is a medical transcriptionist and
would like the dictation in 1 ear and the Jaws in the other. I'm sure
there's a way to do that and any help would be appreciated./Thanks!

Hi all.
Yes. With background recording you record the internet stream silently,
meaning no sound card is used, therefore no JAWS or any other output
will be in the recording; just the internet stream. Replay A/V can also
do this but Total Recorder does this and a lot more.
Hope this helps.
