SendSpace does have a dropbox facility but I've not investigated it.

No, because software speach is not a system sound. a system sound are
windows sounds. all that happens is tht it turns off sound sceems.

So do the later versions of totalRecorder, it can slow down to about 75% and
speed up to about 160%, no pitch change and quality is ok, certainly
comparable with the GoldWave time warp similarity function with setting of
around 120% and 20 and 5.00 in the search settings.

During recording system sounds are muted by default, I guess that would
include speech. But if not then the speech would go on the recording --

1. Uncheck everything but the filter driver. This is in the drivers group.
2. As far as I know yes this is still possible. In fact I don't even
think a driver is used; it just decodes it in the background without
using your sound card.

Studio Recorder from aph.org speeds up playback without
changing the pitch and does it very well. It doesn't play
Windows Media files though.

Yes I can. Only install the filter driver, and your sound will be there.
The driver isn't installed into the system hence it's a filter driver.
