True, Rockbox isn't supported on the Zen Stone.
As far as Creative Lite is concerned, maybe the author of those JFW
scripts will update them to work with JFW 10. Do you still have JFW 9?
Maybe you could switch back when you needed to run Creative Lite.
Rockbox is great, and I occasionally use
I have a creative zen stone 2 GB model. Is there anyway of making it talk with
rockbox? The scripts of creative lite don't seem to work with JFW 10. Help
will be welcome. Thank you.

Well, I agree it's a good development, but I wouldn't say what Apple is
doing is revolutionary. Remember Rock box has used this technology for
years. I installed rockbox on my first portable media player in 2007 and
using talking clips to speak the menus, folders and file names wasn't
new then.
Hi
Ok, first off:
http://www.rockbox.org
Rockbox doesn't support this player, and why should it, as it only has a few
simple functions - please read up on said website before posting.
Secondly, scripts for what? JFW lite is outdated.

Yeah, but the fact that an actual popular company is doing this, without us
having to instal alternate firmware - that's a step in the right direction.
Might not be a revolution, but it sure beats what most companies are doing,
and we don't have to use rockbox if we don't want to - but I like

Still, though, even if speach isn't built in, and even if you have to use ms
sam, your still getting speech - which is quite a revolution. And unless my
ipod video's hard drive fails, it will be lasting a long time to come- the
only thing I might even replace would be the battery.

I couldn't find the story at that URL either, so I used Google and found
the following URL http://www.apple.com/ipodshuffle/features.html.
Following the link labeled "Learn more about VoiceOver" also lead to
information on how this works, which BTW, seems to be the same way it
works on the iPod
Okay, so I have everything pretty much as I want it, got that cross-fade
plug-in, what you hear sounds pretty good. Now I notice a tiny bit of . . .
I guess you would call it, like that sound you get when someone just barely
bumps a turntable? My guess is that something might be fightin with
Kathy!
Your likely going to have to accept limited sound quality from a netbook
sound driver.
There are sound cards out there that cost the same as your netbook.
I think you have done great getting where you are already!

Anders,
Try looking for your files under c:/programs/Audio Grabber/catagories
It has been a long time since I used that program so I may be off base.
Good luck!

I'm certainly not a detractor from all things Apple, even if they still,

Hello!
I am new to the autiograbber program.
It seems to be a really great program.
However when you have grabbed a cd and want to store it, how do i go about
that?
I have set the program to stor as mp3 and in my h: hard drive with the
artist name as directory name.
Tho i can not seem to find it.

Well, yes, the sound was like listening to a scratchy record and like
hearing it through a staticky radio or something. Not pleasant, suffice it
to say.
Tim, I'm not sure I know what you're saying about the volume not being
independent. I can control the volume in Winamp as always, but I'm no
