Try lowering the output of your soundcard, and see what that does when the
tube amplifier picks up thedigital signal generated by the soundcard.

I have a speaker system that uses a pare of vacuum tube amplifiers hooked up
to my computer.
But the quality falls apart at my sound card.

creative chip, but with some editions. I haven't tried this card personally,
