hi list can any one on here help me with windows messenger? even though I checked the boxes for some reason it is still coming on when I open up out look. I want it to stay closed unless I open it myself. would like help please. thanks so much. Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... h

Well, a quick search with Yahoo! says that the Zen Stone doesn't support lossless formats. It does look like Windows Media Player, and maybe Creative Media Lite, automatically converts lossless formats into a lossy file format when copying the files to the Zen Stone. Jerry Richer wrote: >

hi. Ok, maybe my ears have just never been trained to hear these sounds. I can definitely tell if an mp3 has a lot of artifacts, like for example if a badly encoded mp3 has artifacts you'll hear a sort of swishy sound, that's the best way to describe it, especially with higher frequency stuff

I don't know of a difference between WMA and lossless WMA. I thought WMA was pretty much a lossless format regardless. Alls I know is what I read in the manual and hear from Creative technical assistance, that they play MP3 and WMA with no reference to lossless WMA. Jerry Ch
