This is all very interesting but what I'm particularly concerned about
is whether these cards have digital i/o ports SPDIF ports if you like?

Dane,
A couple of years ago, I wanted to obtain excellent audio at a reasonable

Hi.
I have an x-fi for my laptop but I don't like that one. Creatives are ok in
general, I have an audigy in my desktop and it rocks. The live 24bits are
all right too. turtle beach is supposed to make good high end sound cards.

Hi John,
Hmm. That's odd. I've successfully renamed them to .mp3. Obviously, it
can't be interchangeable.

Hello,
I think I discovered that file.cap can simply be renamed file.wma, and then
it plays in something like WinAmp or Windows Media player.
If consistently true, this is nice to know.

The thing you say about the chat window is just because you're not a hard

How would you know, when you have been notified, if it's not read out lout?

Hi:
The scripts were designed for an older version of Team Talk and JAWS 6.0.

Well a Mac version is coming yes but in the meantime? Well, the old
Trashbox will suffice unless I could be bothered porting the LINUX
version to the Mac.

I believe they are, I don't use them anymore with version 3.4 of TeamTalk
and version 9 of Jaws, so i'm not sure if they work or not.

Thanks for the link.
The scripts don't appear to work well at all even when all options are
turned on in the verbosity menu.
Perhaps they are for an older version.
Again, thanks.

Yeah it sure is, and as far as I know, there isn't a Mac version,
would be nice if there was though.

One example why scripts may be required is that you may need to know whether
or not voice activation is turned on or off.
I can think of others.

Scripts have already been written for the program by Sean Randel.

That's definitely an option, but not the best one for wanting to read a
chapter at a time or something like that. I noticed most of the mp3
files on the Cd are about 15 minutes long. This is fine for me if I can
just get them onto an mp3 player in a logical order, because they aren't

I'm aware of the DRm and the victor reader. What I want is a way to
convert/move the mp3 files on the CD to my mp3 player so I can listen to
them in a logical order without needing the victor reader or the like.
If you open the cd and just play one of the mp3 files using winamp or
the like, it will

Why are scripts needed, anyway. The program is perfectly accessible, and if
people can't be bothered to read the chat window them self, then that's just
laziness...

I am working with TeamTalk and I have a server online.
I'm not sure if you want to test your own server or if you want to log on to
another server.
If it's the latter, you can log on to my server at:

The root of the server is not password protected. Incidental
Hi
Anyone on this list using Teamtalk? Want to test it with someone.
