Hi Bob! Would it indeed be better to listen to internet radio? Could that
be in fact better, maybe?

have satellite radio, Sirius, in the car and do listen to it as much or more
than standard radio, especially otr and news.
Good luck whatever you decide.

Hi,
I am getting some static over my mixer and think it is from my computer, any
suggestions on what I can do to try and trap and kill it so I can have a
clean signal again? Thanks for any ideas.

The FCC changed the rules allowing the AM stations to leave the HD channels on
at
night. there have been a lot of complaints because of this. since they use
adjacent frequencies, they mess up long distance listening. I believe that HD
radio will be like stereo A M, Sequam, eventually a bust.
In the community where I live we no longer have am radio, an once the
convergence to high definition television takes place I will have yet a few
more boat anchors to put out on the curb to be picked up by the recycling
people, and then there are the computers. I am now on my third desktop, and
thought wave is automatically unchecked when you check another item such as
mic in this situation.
i would normally keep the mic volume down to 3% for sound quality.
