you know we don't know how long it takes to charge the thing up. It could
take as little as 15 minutes. It will surely take no longer than 1 hour.

Hi all!
I managed to get sound taxi installed on my system and registered without
any major mishaps. However, when I played back a song which I had converted,
I noticed that it skipped. It's a song from rhapsody, and I was converting
from the original wma format to a 192K (they called it 190 K)
Hi Gary.
The zen stoen is so simple that a manual really isn't necessary. As Alison
has discovered, you do have to hold the play button for 2 to 3 seconds and
then wait 10 to 15 seconds for playback to start.
I'd recommend taking a look at the following site to get a good overview of
the play
Hi Bruce.
I see the BP and Zen Stone as serving completely different purposes rather
than two products competing in the same market so it's more likely that
you'd want both rather than one or the other. I don't have a BP and haven't
seenit's specs but I'd be very surprised if it had a great sp
Hi Rick!
It turns out I was just being impatient. This is nothing new. Lol. You need
to hold down the play button for about three seconds during, and then wait
ten to fifteen seconds for it to start playing the file.

Hi there. Yes in Nero there's no problen removing the 2 second gap. just do
the following.
1. Place focus on a track which you want preceeded by something other than
the default 2 second pause.
2. press alt+enter. At this point your screen reader should indicate that
you are now in an edit field
I have been trying to find and access a manual for the Zen Stone, but haven't
had
any luck finding it. if someone has it, may I have it please? then I may be
able
to help Alison. I think I can buy one of these players for $10.00 or so.

Allison,
This is just a shot in the dark, but after reading a review of the Zen
Stone, I recall there is a switch that you have to use to put the player in
folder navigation mode. I am thinking that you may have to use this mode to
navigate to your music folder and then press what ever button mak

Hello Dan,
You can run the lazer lince Cleaning disc as many times as you need to.
I myself have been known to pop it in to one machine, and when it's threw

So go on ahead, run it as many times as you need to.
It will make

How many laser lens cleanings can you perform with a kit? I have

Hi all!
I received my creative Zen stone today, plugged it in, deleted the sample
tracks from the music folder, and pasted in some mp3 files of an audio book.
I waited until the player was charged, plugged in the headphones, and held
down the play button for one second. I heard a little popping
Hello again,
I had previously posted about a reading problem with my cd burner,
and plan to purchase a disc cleaner later today. Wish me good luck
. But that begs a question.
I am wondering how Nero goes about verifying the files if the disc
can't be read? I guess I'm revealing my obvious lack
Larry,
Sorry i dont' have the answer for you.
However, could you please tell me how you remove the two second gap between
tracks in Nero?

Well, go into goldwave, press f11 to get into the control settings, choose
volume from the tab control, tab to the wave option, make sure it is at
100%, tab to the check box that says select, press space bar to check it and
press enter. Hope this helps.

No justification is necessary on that point. The BP is one of the best
purchases I've ever made, and I am now just glad I didn't purchase the
Zen stone ... not because there's anything wrong with it, but because
I'm better served by my Book Port and I'll take the larger size for what
I'm offered. P
He's just trying to justify purchasing the BP as a mp3 player.

But with the Zen stone, you don't have to use annoying transfer software.
You can just copy and paste from windows explorer.

Since I've started editing certain Vinyl and cassette to CD transfer
projects in Sound Forge 8, I've learned that Nero 6.6 will not burn projects
touched by SF. It consistently reports that I have a CDR in my drive, and
that I need a CDR-RW instead. This is not true, as I have Nero set to Audio
The whole point of portability is, well, portability. If you have to

Has a blind person used or had any experience with the iRiver T50 or the

If the Zen Stone can only be recharged via the USB port.. .this
shouldn't pose too much of a problem as you can get A C adapters that
allow you plug a USB connection in, so you can charge it that way. Just
like the way I pods are charged.

I'm curious. How do you think this makes it more inconvenient? Are you

same. I
