Listers,
Is there away to get rid of commercials when recording with Windows Media
Center?
For that matter, I would like to get rid of the commercials that are
recorded, when I am recording with my DVR; it has 80 gigs, but I don't want
half of it used up with comercials!
Thanks to all,
Carliss

It will do it. You need the Real codecs though, but I think Real Alternative
will do the trick for that.

Hi,
I also have a few cd's recorded in m4a format and would like
to convert these files into mp3. How can I do this? I was
sent a plug in for goldwave but I have to download quicktime
but it takes too long on a dialup service.
Can any one suggest a way that I can do this.
Regards
Adrien

Hi,
There are on-line converters that will convert file formats and send it back
to you via email within 24 hours. I think one is called Zanzar.com. If not,
do a search for online file converters.

Hi Kathy. I believe that the Replay Converter, which can be bundled with
Reply AV or purchased separately, will convert .ra to MP3. I haven't tried
it myself, as I don't have many .ra files on my system these days, but I'm
pretty sure Replay Converter will take care of you.
Peace,
Larry

Real Alternative will work with most Real media files, but not all.
Only Real Player can be assured of that.

Hello List!
I recently purchased a new PC that came with Vista (home) installed already. I
also own several players (Winamp Pro; Nero 7; EMC7/8/9; Recordnow Max; Real
Player; and Power DVD (the latest). I recently purchased JAWS 8.
Recently, when I installed Nero on my daughter's new noteboo
Hi, all. I think I know the unfortunate answer to this, but I thought I'd
ask anyhow. I have a bunch of Real files I want to convert to mp3 format.
The only way I've found to do this is to burn CD's in Realplayer as audio
CDs, then open them up in Soundforge *'m using 6.0), and then save them

While there are alternatives available for playing these files, as already
has been outlined, here is something that you might wish to consider as an

Sure, they do exist; but also Real Player is the Real McCoy, so to speak,

The audio recordings with skype is quite good so long as you have a good
solid connection.
What version of skype are you using?
For recording, you have a few options. Total recorder is one. If you have
outlook (not outlook express), you can get skylook, which will let you
record skype calls
