Let me try to respond to a couple points people have asked about. I love Total Recorder under Windows xp; didn't like it under 98. My favorite way to tell TR Pro what stream to record is the second check box on the Advanced pate of the scheduler. this way I don't deal with the mini-browse

It is supposed to be able to record any streaming audio but you have to paste the URL into the edit field. I am not sure if it has its own media player.
