You are correct, it was inter video win dvd. I'm afraid I haven't found the
program to be very accessible, using jaws. How do you generally access
functions like navigating menus, switching tracks, accessing different
features?

Let me try to respond to a couple points people have asked about. I love
Total Recorder under Windows xp; didn't like it under 98.
My favorite way to tell TR Pro what stream to record is the second check
box on the Advanced pate of the scheduler. this way I don't deal with the
mini-browse
I prefer WinDVD myself, but unfortunately, for the moment, I"have to use
Power DVD because I can't get any sound when playing a DVD with the WinDVD
program. I think, though, that after using both, that WinDVD is a bit easier
to use with JFW.

I currently have Win DVD, I believe that is the player's name, on my system
for dvd playback. I've seen many discussions of power dvd , which seems to
be a friendlier program. I would like to switch to the easiest dvd software
I can locate. Does Power dvd fit the description? If not,
