This one sounds really great. The Marantz PMD660 has XLR mic inputs, not
the mini jacks the Edirol R1 offers, but one can get adapters, so that
one can use minijack mics with XLR input sockets. This sounds much much
better than the Edirol R1, four hours of recording time with 4 AA
batteries instead
Hello Andy,
I have used the Sony ICD P28, which is a digital recorder. It was about $100
over here. I am totally blind and can use it without problems. It has a USB
port.
You can also change certain settings, like the record quality, from within the
software that comes with the unit.

Hi Don.
These programs are similar but the fundamental difference is that MP3CLIP is
designed more for splitting an MP3 file whereas MP3TRIM is designed more for
removing digital silence or clicks from the beginning and end of MP3 files.
You can get MP3CLIP from the JFW lite website but I don't h

Hi,
you must rip the audio CD first.
that means use a program to convert the .cda files to .mp3, & then you may put them in 1 folder so you can copy them to clipboard
then start Nero & paste them in.
& now to the other person with the mp3 CD question,
A MP3 CD will have a autorun file on it allowi
Hello,
Perhaps I'm wrong, but I think that each of the above programs does the same
thing,
specifically, takes a large mp3 file and breaks it up into individual files.
If this is the
case, which of these two programs does a better job at it.
If the function of these two programs differs, ple

Hi,
Somewhere in 1996 I used to have windows 95 and a soundblaster 16 soundcard,
running a piece of software called text-assist. Text-assist had a text
reader, sort of a talking notepad, and you could make it sing using pure
text together with a few special symbols to indicate frequency and note

Kathy, I think, from what I've been told, that when you copy to another
folder, it just makes a route to the original file, rather than copy the

and burn them with Nero, or even Windows XP Exploer. I was told I could
copy and paste the data from the CDA files into a folder on the hard drive
and then just burn the folder on Nero as an audio disc. But when I check
