I have listened to books recorded at a bitrate as low as 22050HZ at 24K BPS.
I don't know if it will go much lower than this, because I haven't gotten
around to trying it yet.

Is there a way of preventing this from the front of every audio cd I make?

I am trying to get my computer speakers to play while my veronica is plugged
in. I need a quarter inch jack socket/plug with splits allowing me to use
both the veronica and my computer speakers. Anyone know wich cable I
require?

Okay, thanks for that. Adding a playlist seems a bit easier since sometimes
file names seem to be truncated when I add them to a compilation
individually. I just wanted to be sure that they would be recognized and
tagged as individual tracks when it is done. I assume this would work, but
