as the cd info. there's actually two different ifno pages. the first one
can be brought up with ctrl+i and this requires that a cd be in the first
cd-rom in your system. if its an audio cd, you will land on the ok button.

Iam currently using Nero 5.5,
and, yes you can burn mp3's to disk to listen to on your pc.
Just use the wizard, and burn it as a data disk.
As far as a backup program, I use Karen's replicator.
I use it to backup files and folders from various locations on my hard
drives.
These are
mixing wav and mp3 files in an audio cd is fine.

Hi Susan. To burn MP3's with Nero, you need to burn a data CD. A mixed
mode CD is a combination of MP3 and Wav files.

Yes, but doesn't that still use the capture from the sound card itself, and
thus would record Jaws and other interference? I can mute Jaws, but every
once in a while, the sound card makes these noises, not Windows sounds
either.

If you want media player to run your mp3's then the easiest thing to do
is just reinstall wmp.

ok another question i am using jaws but have another question when jaws trys

Hi Sunshine.
Control + I will open the disc info dialogue. If you have a disc in your CD
burner, Nero will tell you the available capacity of the disc, whether it is
recordable or rewritable and a few other pieces of information.
To check how much disc space your current project will occupy, pre
if you are using jfw, route jaws to pc and down arrow through the page and
you will see information about your layout. the amount of time of the
tracks in the layout and how many tracks are in the layout ect. if its a
data cd, you will see how much space the data is taking up so far.
