the overburn doesn't effect the speed of burning but how much you burn on
to a cd. it means that you can burn a few more minutes to an audio cd or a
few more mbs to a data cd, but usually the last data burned gets distorted
or damaged.

One of Roxio's great features was the ability to rip all the tracks on a cd
to one continuous track. Can you do this with Nero? If not what can you do
it with?

one thing to beware of with version 6 of nero is that it defaults to
overburn and that can damage your drive. to uncheck that box you must press
alt+f then f for preferrences and press ctrl+tab four times and then tab
once and uncheck the box to overburn when using disc at once.

Hello list;
I am running an old version of Windoweyes on a win 98 machine but will be
going on to an xp machine soon I think. For now, I use total recorder to
create a file in wav1 format. I' tried to create it using mp3 but cant get
the button for change file type to work when saving the file.
Thanks for both suggestions; I am using 5.57 and therefore need to up grade
to 6.x. The ctrl-1 could help also.
Thanks again.

Hi Guys,
I have something from my cable company, which is Charter Communications,
that they call Charter Rhapsody. I'm assuming it is the same program you're
discussing. I never have been able to get it to do anything. What's it
supposed to do for you? Oh, I know, it's some kind of a music pac

Hi,
It seems to me that that was a truly annoying feature in earlier
versions, one, indeed, that kept me from using nero regularly. Then, I was
in a position where I couldn't make roxio run, on my laptop, and needed
something quickly. I downloaded the new version 6.0 and low and behold
I am aware of this drag and drop process, but I was too foolish to think of
using it. I'll give it a try this afternoon.
Thanks for the reminder.

Hi Lloyd,
If you use JAWS, you can move data files around in Nero by using the drag
and drop feature. Find the file you want with the JAWS cursor, press
Jawskey+numpad slash to lock the left mouse, move the JAWS cursor to where
you want to move the file to and press Jawskey+numpad slash again to
You aren't missing anything. They seemed to have taken out the MSAA
controls of the program. I still use it, but it is a lot harder to use and
therefore not as enjoyable. Here's how I do a search. Go down past the

Hi, everyone. I'm a recent dean koontz fan, and was looking for his books
in mp3. I posted the following message to his news group, but got no
response. I was hoping I'd have better luck here. You can email me off

Thanks for any and all help,
