Hello,
when I merge tickets together and add a note, set priority/whatever,
those settings are applied to each tickets before the merge happens.
Is this intentional? If so, is there a way to prevent it?

I actually lived it for several years. Maybe the tool we used back then
simplified the whole thing. :) And yes, I *do* need this feature, I’m just
a bit lost on how to do it.

that's a bit of an overkill (even with using templates). However, it is
likely that I didn't understand the whole change thing in ITSM :-) Isn't it
a bit over-complicated?

Hello,
is there anyone on this list who has successfully implemented a Change in
ITSM 3.x? I have tried and tried, but cannot go forward from requested to
approved state. Is there a fully blown tutorial on this?
Thanks in advance!

Hello,
I have a dynamic field called ZabbixEventID. When I create the ticket using
the API, I'd like to set this field to something. As the API documentation
doesn't say anything about this, I'm trying to achieve it like this:
my $ticketID = $ticketObject->TicketCreate(

Hello,
We are currently trying to implement processes using the new (for us, at
least) Process Management feature. We have created the first steps, now we
want to do some transitions. The links in the ticket view show up as
ekpected, but whenever I click it, nothing seem to happen.

I solved my problem with a PostMaster Filter, but I wonder why this is not
possible on the web interface?

One possible solution comes into my mind, but it requires much work on several
sides.
1. Agent Mike must send his mail directly through your company's mail server,
while authenticating himself in a secure way (if that can be said in the case
of SMTP).
2. The mail server, seeing this, should set
Hello list,
is there a way to use multiple regex groups in the Email header set section?
E.g. I want to create a filter like this:
Subject: Host ([^ ]+) is in error state
Body: Service ([^ ]+) is not available since ([0-9:.-]+)
And set headers like this:
TicketValue1:
TicketValue2:

Hello Muhammad,
If you are using GMail, use it with IMAP. This way if you (OTRS) delete a mail
from the Inbox, it will be still visible in the Archived items. Hope this helps.

Hello,
Sorry for the empty mail, my MUA went mad for a minute.
3.x has a bit different DB structure, so although it may be theoretically
possible for 2.4 to READ tickets from the newer DB, I'm almost sure it won't be
able to update - and thus, create - them. So my answer would be a "no",
