Hello Eric,
considering that a Senior Engineer in the SF Bay Area has an average
income of 120.000
Linus,
Sure, I'd be happy to clarify. We had an internal discussion in prpl about
what the best way to focus the proposals for prpl funding. As with any
group of funders, there was some tension between having a totally unfocused
set of proposals about any topic and proposals that fulfill the goals
Felix,
Oops, forgot to respond to the prplwrt repo question. When prpl was getting
started, it wasn't clear if we wanted to create our own fork of OpenWrt or
not. There wasn't much interest in doing that so I just ended up deleting
it. I think we're more interested in working with the core OpenWrt
Felix,
I don't have a number off hand, that's still being decided. My feeling has
been that's it'd be in the tens of thousands USD total. I'll try to get

I need some ideas on the final park of my fallback mechanism which I've
mentioned here. My issue is really how to make the partitioning work
properly.
The goal is to, without modifying the board u-boot, and assuming
enough space for a backup system in flash, allow the system to
still boot to
